Today Apple posted a new Press release. They are bumping up the 1.67 GHZ model to 1.83GHZ and the 1.83GHZ model to 2.0GHZ, so now I am getting a 1.83GHZ Core Duo Chip. The press release can be read at http://www.apple.com/pr/library/2006/feb/14macbookpro.htmlHappy Day! Hopefully mine will ship soon.
