Halloween Series

Over the weekend we watched the entire Halloween series. It has been a long time since I watched some of them. I was actually quite impressed with how good all the movies really were. The Halloween movies didn’t ever get quite as silly as the other horror movies like Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street as they progressed. That is with the exception of the 3rd movie which didn’t even involve Michael Myers. The last movie also wasn’t Halloween at its greatest. Considering a series of 8 movies though 2 duds isn’t too bad. I also found out that the 6th film was heavily re-edited after a bad reaction to a test screening. I have found out that the original version exists in a bootleg producers cut version. I have been thinking of picking this up to see which version I like best.
