Today I learned something new about a 25 year old toy. I found out the original Megatron can have the gun barrel up along his back like in the original cartoon series. The instructions that came with the original and the reissues have always shown the gun barrel on the side. From what I understand that is how he was supposed to be transformed. The animators actually transformed the toy wrong and that is why in the cartoon the barrel was in the back.
