iPhone Disassembly

The iPhone has already been released in New Zealand and of course someone has already taken the thing apart. One nice thing about the new iPhone is the battery isn’t soldered onto the mainboard, so it should be fairly easy to actually replace and not spend the $79 Apple charges to replace the battery for you. Luckily a battery should last about 2 years or so before having to replace, so they should be pretty easy to acquire by then. All the dissasembly pictures can be viewed here
