VNC for iPhone

I’ve been having loads of fun with the iPhone and some of the free apps in the app store. A lot of the free apps are just little time waster apps, but today one was released that is actually pretty useful. A VNC app has become available and it’s free. It is simply called VNC lite. I just downloaded and and tried it out and it works great. VNC allows you to take remote control of a computer. The server end works on Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux. It is actually built right into OS X. I tested the program out and I was able to take control of my iMac without a¬†hiccup. Now if an SSH app comes along I would pretty much be set in terms of remote computer control.
