I hope this turns out to be true. tfw2005.com reports Devastator has been confirmed to be in the new Transformers movie Revenge of the Fallen. For those that do not know Devastator consisted of 6 transformers called the Contructicons. They were on construction vehicles. Each was their own robot, but when things got really nasty in battle they would combine into one gigantic robot. Here are the details that have been given about the movie Devastator
– Seven construction vehicles merge to form Devastator
– Devastator has lots of upper body strength, like a gorilla
– Not just green, some of the vehicles are red and yellow
– The previously leaked Long Haul concept art (image to left) by Josh Nizzi is legit
Below is the concept art for Long Haul which was one of the Constructicons and a picture of the original toy in the rarer gift set packaging. There have been a lot of knock offs released in China over the years of this figure. One recent one that is more expensive, but actually uses die cast parts like the original. I have been debating over picking up that one over the last few months.
