Lucasfilm has just announced that they are releasing the original unaltared trilogy on DVD in September. I never thought this would happen but if anyone knows how to get my money it is George Lucas. It looks like they come with both the 2004 versions of the movies and the original 1977, 1980, and 1983 versions. Today I added some pictures of my vintage (1977-1985) Star Wars collection. I also just got a great deal on a Millennium Falcon on ebay. The pic below is from the auction. The other day at Target I was able to purchase the new Vintage Star Wars figures. These are new figures with packaging of the old toys from the 80s. When you buy all 5 you get stickers that go on a form and you can mail away for an exclusive George Lucas in Stormtrooper Disguise figure. Today I received the last vintage Star Wars figure I needed to copmlete my collection almost. There is still one figure that was exclusive to a Sears Playset and was a messup by the manufacturer and another that was only released in Europe and Austrailia, but they run around $130.00 and up a piece, so it will be awhile before I can afford those.
