Top Ten Things That Sound Cool When Spoken by a Giant Robot
For those that don’t want to splurge on the boxed set, like I did, today the first Season of the original Transformers was released. There are some great deals to be had for this first set. The retail price is $29.99, but most places you can pick it up for around $20. The best price I saw was in Target’s ad this week in which they have it advertised at $16.99. This is a great way to see how the Transformers began 25 years ago and an excellent price.

Last night we quickly jumped online and bought our tickets for Transformers. We are going all out for this movie by going to Jordan Commons in Sandy to view it on the Imax screen. We are going to the 6:10 show and most of the top level seating is already sold out. At least our seats are reserved which I love about this theatre, so no standing in line for two hours before the movie starts. I wish more theaters would implement this.
It would be great to go see it in Vegas at the Luxor. Their Imax screen puts you even closer to the movie, but the one drawback there is that you sit wherever you end up in line and do not have any choice in the matter. They have finished putting up there big advert on the side of the pyramid shown below.
This video was recently posted which shows some highlights of the Premiere of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen in Japan. Only two weeks from tomorrow until we finally get to see it here. I’m really looking forward to it.
Last weekend was botcon the annual Transformers convention (someday I need to go to one of these). Shoutfactory had a booth with the new boxed set I pre-ordered and tformers.com had some pictures posted. Here they are in the gallery below. I think I might have to find a new shelf for this set as it looks much bigger than the space that all my old sets took up. I’m interested as to what information is in the 60 page book. From the pictures it looks like it could be just bio information and an episode guide. I guess I’ll know for sure in about a month.
